Camps International assists local talent to start Christ-centered camps in places where there are none. We train counselors in outreach ministry for their church. We create Christian counselor-focused autonomous camps that use small group ministry methods before, during, and after the camp event.

Our most fundamental purpose is to challenge others to equip themselves so they can tell many about God's plan of salvation through His son Jesus.

Camps International staff has ministered in Colombia, Cuba, Guatemala, Haiti, Hungary, Mexico and the USA.

David Caldwell is founder of Camps International.

David founded RYCCA, a Mexico-based non-profit that aids under-resourced camps, and has served multiple years on the board of Christian Camping International Latin America: Mexico. In 1994, David and his wife, a second-gen missionary, moved to Mexico to grow the local church through Christian camps. David has dedicated his life to developing Christian youth camps with the purpose of raising up leadership in the Church.
